Teacher Studio

From evidence to a lesson, and back again.

Plan a lesson around a strategy, record what happened, look at the results honestly and print the sheets you need. Everything runs in your browser: no account, no uploads, no AI.

PrototypeThese tools produce starting points from fixed templates. They are not tested lesson plans or validated assessments — adapt them to your students and context. Avoid recording any information that identifies a student.

Tool B

Classroom implementation journal

Record what happened when you tried a strategy. Entries are kept as a draft in this browser only — nothing is sent anywhere. Do not include student names or other identifying details.

Tool C

Classroom impact template

Enter class averages (as percentages) at three points to see how learning held up over time. Use whole-class figures only. Figures stay in this tab and are not saved.

Baseline · Before teaching
Immediate · End of lesson or unit
Delayed · Two or more weeks later

Results

Enter at least one average to see the chart.

Limits of simple pre/post comparisons

  • Without a comparison group, a rise from baseline may reflect ordinary teaching, maturation or practice with the test, not the strategy.
  • Immediate scores often overstate durable learning. The delayed result is usually the more meaningful one.
  • Small classes produce noisy averages. A difference of a few percentage points may be chance.
  • If different students sit each assessment, changes may reflect who was present rather than learning.
  • Different tests at each point are rarely of equal difficulty, so scores are not directly comparable.
  • Results from one class do not show the strategy will work the same way elsewhere.

Tool D

Teacher resource templates

Seven printable sheets. Choose one to preview it, then print it or download an editable text version. None of them ask for student names.
